Working Hard or Hardly Working?

I’ve only worked a little bit recently; I just haven’t been getting the vibe that allows me to go out and do a heck of a lot all at once.  I’m kind of irritated about the site; and I’m thinking about maybe starting it all over again; except that I really like the theme…

I actually created a pretty good theme now, but I’m thinking I should really re-design the site.

I’m thinking about possibly setting the site in with the newest standards out there.

That’s right, programming the website to be entirely XML.

Of course, this won’t work on old web browsers; so I’ll probably just stick with XHTML for now.

The APIs and such though, will be programmed using XML and will probably all have XSLT transformations on them to make them look nice.

On the DS side, I have worked a little bit on the Day/Night Online stuff.  I got the PHP up and working so that it shows the information for the past two weeks.  Still no XSLT for it yet, but the PHP is all in place for it.

The only other problem with that now is the development on the DS side; its not going well.

I’m also thinking about creating more APIs similar to these that work with the computer data; or maybe eventually I’ll combine them all into one with a single API that tells what’s going on with everything.

Who knows? Nobody yet. ^^;

Website Up and Under Construction

Labs is back up and under heavy construction.  We have it under the same hosting that we had the previous one (it wasn’t our host that went bad, it was our domain owner) so we’re still being hosted by Eevee’sHQ at least as far as the development website goes.  Anyone who goes to the site now, will be redirected to this blog.

I have restored the two most important Topsites, however, our affiliates will have to wait until our new site is up to have their link exchange up.  I am sorry about this, but it is a lot of hassle right now, and there is a lot of JavaScript and code that I have to go through and edit to get your links working, and quite frankly, I don’t really have the time with all this going on, game development is our first priority.

I would also like to announce that PoKéQuesT will be developing a API that will record statistics about connections from the Nintendo DS.  This API will not include information from PC users, as it is going to be used with WFCStatus; a program that tracks statistics for all Nintendo DS games that use WiFi, including homebrew.  PoKéQuesT will be one of the homebrew titles to have an API that WFCStatus can use.

That seems to be all the information we have for now.  I’ll talk more later, when I get some more done.
